His Holiness Aram A, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, during his visit to Athens was hosted at the Armenian Embassy in Greece. On his visit to the Embassy he was accompanied by His Εminence Archbishop Kegham Khatcherian, Prelate of the Apostolic Church of Greece, Grigor Mahserejian, Co-chairman of the National Board, Tagvor Hovakimyan, Chairman of the National Board and Vicar: Archimandrite Hovhannes Saghdedjian.

During the meeting with the H.E. Mr. Tigran MKRTCHYAN Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Hellenic Republic, His Holiness spoke with satisfaction about his visit to Athens, emphasizing the important contribution of the Diplomatic representation in the maintenance and development of traditional Armenian-Greek friendly relations.

During the conversation, H.E. Mr. Tigran MKRTCHYAN presented the current situation in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, the latest regional developments, as well as the current state of the traditional friendly relations between Armenia and Greece.

On his side His Holiness emphasized the importance of the efforts of all Armenians in order to promote the Armenian agenda. Various topics related to the Armenian Diaspora were discussed in this context.
