27 November, 2025

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, met with the Director of the Diplomatic Academy of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Michalis Diamessis.

During the meeting, the prospects for further expanding cooperation with Armenia’s Diplomatic School were discussed, in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2017. In this context, Ambassador Mkrtchyan proposed considering the organization of bilateral student study visits and lectures. The “Yerevan Dialogue” international conference was also presented, which in a short period of time has become an important platform dedicated to international issues.

Ambassador Diamessis outlined the activities and programs of the Diplomatic Academy of Greece and emphasized the need to intensify cooperation with Armenia.

Tigran Mkrtchyan also touched upon key issues of Armenia’s foreign policy, particularly the documents signed in Washington in August, the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity,” the “Crossroads of Peace” project, and other regional matters. Opportunities for further developing high-level bilateral relations between Armenia and Greece were also discussed.
