Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan Receives Students of Yerevan Sayat-Nova Music School in Greece

On April 1, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, received students of the Yerevan Sayat-Nova Music School, led by Director Garik Nazaryan, who were in Greece to participate in the 3rd International Meeting-Festival of Music Schools held in the city of Mytilene.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan welcomed the young musicians, emphasizing the importance of their participation in such international cultural events as a key factor in presenting Armenia’s cultural values and promoting intercultural dialogue.

The Ambassador also briefly presented the cultural diplomacy programs implemented by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Greece.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the development of cultural ties between Armenia and Greece, youth engagement, and the promotion of creative initiatives. The Ambassador highly appreciated the school’s activities, noting that such educational institutions play an important role in preserving and promoting Armenian culture.

Representatives of the music school expressed their gratitude for the reception and presented details of their participation in the festival.

The visit of the music school to Greece was organized with the support of the Yerevan Municipality.
