The Meeting of Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan with Stavros Kalafatis, Head of the Greece-Armenia Friendship Group

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, met with Stavros Kalafatis, Head of the Greece-Armenia Friendship Group in the Hellenic Parliament and Secretary General of the ruling "New Democracy" parliamentary faction.

The Armenian Ambassador presented to the parliamentarian the regional developments, the ongoing negotiations around the peace treaty with Azerbaijan, and the existing challenges within that process.

The discussion also touched upon the Armenia-EU partnership, its current dynamics, as well as ongoing developments and planned visits in various sectors of Armenia-Greece bilateral relations.
The high level of bilateral relations was emphasized, with a note that cooperation is continuously expanding into new areas.

Both sides highlighted the importance of enhancing interparliamentary communication and implementing mutual visits.
