Annual commemoration of the "Sea Battle of Salamis" in Athens

On September 15th, the Minister Plenipotentiary, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the Hellenic Republic, Mrs. Hasmik Dashtoyan attended the annual commemoration ceremony dedicated to the 2500th anniversary of the Battle of Salamis, participating in the wreath laying ceremony to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Syntagma Square in Athens

The event was co-organized by the Municipality of Salamina and Region of Attica, under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of National Defense.

In addition, the representatives of the Greek government, Greek parliament, Greek military and security forces, representatives of local self-government bodies, associations, as well as representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited to the Hellenic Republic attend the event and participate in the wreath laying ceremony to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier too.
