Delegation led by Head of RA NA Civil Contract Faction Hayk Konjoryan meets with President of House of Representatives of Cyprus

On May 2, within the framework of the visit to the Republic of Cyprus the Head of the RA NA Civil Contract Faction Hayk Konjoryan, the deputies of the Faction Vladimir Vardanyan, Rustam Bakoyan, Arusyak Manavazyan, Karen Hambardzumyan and Hayk Tsirunyan met with the President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus Annita Demetriou .

As Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, Hayk Konjoryan expressed his deep gratitude to Annita Demetriou for adopting resolution by the Parliament of Cyprus on 6 April 2023, which condemned the blockade of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan.

At the meeting the coordinated work of the parliamentarians between the two countries on the international platforms was discussed.

Both sides expressed readiness to expand the framework of cooperation, using in the best way possible the potential of the two countries in the spheres of education, tourism, economy and in other ones.
