The Embassy Welcomes the Armenian Delegation Participating in the International Economics Olympiad

Tigran Mkrtchyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, and Consul Liana Marutyan welcomed the Armenian delegation that arrived in Greece to participate in the International Economics Olympiad in Olympia from August 21-24.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mkrtchyan and Consul Marutyan presented the main directions of the Embassy of Armenia's work in Greece and answered the students’ questions. The Ambassador and Consul wished the students success in the upcoming competition, as well as in their studies.

The team, consisting of five high school students, was selected based on their performance at the Tatev Economics Olympiad (TEO), organized by the Behavioral Decision Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Armenia, the Central Bank of Armenia, the American University of Armenia, and the Economics Fundamentals Initiative. TEO has become the country's leading initiative in the field of youth economic education. The students will represent Armenia on the international stage alongside their peers from more than 20 countries.
