Ambassador Mkrtchyan Meets with the Director of the Acropolis Museum

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Hellenic Republic, Tigran Mkrtchyan, met with the Director General of the Acropolis Museum, Professor Nikolaos Stampolidis.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the official visit to Athens made in July of this year by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, at the invitation of the Minister of Culture of Greece, Dr. Lina Mendoni. They also reviewed the progress of implementing the agreements reached during Professor Stampolidis’s visit to Armenia in September.

The Director of the Acropolis Museum shared his impressions from his visit to Armenia, describing them as exceptional. He also presented the ongoing cooperation with the History Museum of Armenia.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan emphasized the importance of inter-museum cooperation with Greece and highlighted the need to organize joint exhibitions.
