Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan Participated in the “Ohi Day” Events Held in Larissa

29 October, 2025

On the occasion of Greece’s national “Ohi Day,” Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, who was on a working visit to Larissa, the administrative center of Thessaly, participated in the Holy Mass held at the Saint Achilles Cathedral of Larissa — a church that played a significant role during the antifascist struggle.

Afterwards, together with the regional and municipal leadership of Thessaly and representatives of Greece’s political and military forces, Ambassador Mkrtchyan laid a wreath at the monument dedicated to the immortal soldiers of the Sacred Band.

The Ambassador then attended the festive parade dedicated to the national holiday.
