Visit of Levon and Sofia Hagopian School Students to the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Greece

On January 15, 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Greece was visited by students of grades 1–6 and the teaching staff of the Levon and Sofia Hakobyan School operating in Athens.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Mr. Tigran Mkrtchyan, warmly welcomed the children, wishing them success and new achievements on their educational path. Ambassador Mkrtchyan also encouraged the school’s teaching staff for their responsible and Armenian-oriented work.

Subsequently, the school principal, Mrs. Victoria Maghakyan, expressed her gratitude to Ambassador Mkrtchyan for the warm reception and emphasized the importance of preserving the tradition of school visits to the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia as a means of strengthening education and national identity.

The students of the Levon and Sofia Hakobyan School performed traditional Armenian and New Year’s songs and dances.

The event concluded in a warm atmosphere, during which the students and the school’s teaching staff received Armenian sweets on behalf of the Embassy.
