Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan Meets with Dora Bakoyannis

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, held a meeting with Theodora Bakoyannis, Chair of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Parliament.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mkrtchyan presented Armenia’s recent achievements in several areas of foreign policy, the ongoing processes of normalization of Armenia–Azerbaijan and Armenia–Turkey relations, as well as regional developments.

Reference was made to parliamentary diplomacy, and in this context, the official visit of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia to Athens in December 2025 was highlighted as particularly important.

The parties also discussed a number of initiatives aimed at advancing bilateral relations between Armenia and Greece.
