Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, met with Professor Paschalis Kitromilides, Director of the Centre for Asia Minor Studies of the Academy of Athens.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the ongoing cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and the Academy of Athens, as well as the prospects for establishing collaboration between individual institutes and research centers operating under the two academies.

Professor Kitromilides presented the history of the Centre for Asia Minor Studies, its main research areas, and its archival activities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Ambassador Mkrtchyan donated historical literature to the Centre.
