Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan Discusses Deepening Armenian-Greek Parliamentary Cooperation

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece Tigran Mkrtchyan met with Theodoros Roussopoulos, Member of the Hellenic Parliament and representative of the New Democracy party.

The meeting focused on steps aimed at further developing bilateral parliamentary relations.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan presented the Greek parliamentarian with the achievements recorded in Armenian-Greek friendly relations, as well as the programs planned for the near future.

The interlocutors also touched upon the recent parliamentary elections held in Armenia. In this context, Theodoros Roussopoulos conveyed his letter of congratulations addressed to Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan also presented the agenda for promoting Armenian products in the European market.

The discussion further covered Armenia’s policy aimed at establishing peace with neighboring countries, as well as the progress in implementing the TRIPP project.
