Embassy Welcomes Students of the Armenian Blue Cross “Azniv and Jirayr Jenazian” School of Athens

The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Greece hosted the students of the Armenian Blue Cross “Azniv and Jirayr Jenazian” Secondary School of Athens, accompanied by the teaching staff and the school principal.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Hellenic Republic, Tigran Mkrtchyan, addressed the students with welcoming remarks, wishing them every success in their studies. The Ambassador also highlighted the importance of the school’s annual visits to Armenia.

In line with the significance of the day, Ambassador Mkrtchyan congratulated those present on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, noting that strengthening the resilience of the army is one of the most important components of the state’s security.

Addressing the graduating students, the Ambassador wished them new achievements on their path toward fulfilling their aspirations by continuing their education at higher educational institutions.

The school principal, Arshalouys Sapritchian, in turn expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for the warm reception and emphasized the importance of the traditional visits to the Embassy in maintaining the students’ connection with their homeland. She also informed the Ambassador about the annual educational visit to Armenia organized for graduating students.

The students performed traditional Armenian dances and songs.

At the conclusion of the event, the students received Armenian sweets on behalf of the Embassy.
