Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan Meets President of the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE)

Within the framework of his working visit to Thessaloniki, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, met with Symeon Diamantidis, President of the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE).

During the meeting, issues related to bilateral trade turnover between Armenia and Greece were discussed. Ambassador Mkrtchyan noted that economic cooperation is a field with unlimited potential for development. In this context, he presented the main directions of bilateral trade, while also outlining sectors in which both countries have export potential.

Symeon Diamantidis noted that the Association includes companies accounting for more than 50% of Greece’s exports, and expressed readiness to explore areas of interest for the Armenian economy, as well as interest in further enhancing trade and economic contacts.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan also presented the main directions of Armenia’s foreign policy, including the course of strategic cooperation with the European Union.

The meeting was attended by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Thessaloniki, Akis Dagazian.
