Ambassador Mkrtchyan Meets with the President of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Small and Medium Industries

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, during his working visit to Thessaloniki, met with the President of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Small and Medium Industries, Makarios Papadopoulos.

During the meeting, issues related to establishing relations with Armenian partners and gradually increasing the volume of trade turnover between the two countries were discussed.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan presented the key sectors in which Armenia and Greece have mutually beneficial cooperation, emphasizing that although trade turnover indicators have increased in recent years, the potential is much greater and economic activity should be promoted by all possible means.

Makarios Papadopoulos expressed his interest in organizing a visit to Armenia in the near future and exploring opportunities to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with partners on the ground.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan left an entry in the honorary guests’ book.

The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Thessaloniki, Akis Dagazian, also participated in the meeting.
